Soy Swapna Latkar, profesora de Inglés certificada con muchos años de experiencia docente. Soy una hablante nativa, originalmente de India, pero en este momento vivo en Santiago de Chile.
¡Me apasiona enseñar! ¡Y me apasiona aún más crear materiales nuevos y estimulantes para que mis estudiantes se enamoren de inglés!
Así que esto es lo que he creado, un método divertido y efectivo para aprender el idioma. No hay libros. No hay hojas de 10.000 palabras. Solo mi voz simplificando el inglés en una pizarra digital.

Estudiar gramática siempre ha sido aburrido, pero esta fue una forma realmente simplificada de ir directo a ideas principales.

❗8 meses de suscripción a Netflix (¡a mí también me encanta Netflix! ¡Pero Netflix no te ayudará en tu carrera!)
❗en unas cenas en el restaurante del rango medio (¿Es solo 1 noche? ¡Y probablemente lo olvidarás muy pronto!)
❗Una crema facial de buena calidad (bien, esto podría ser una buena inversión, pero ¿por qué no invertir en tu mente?)
❗¡Libros de idiomas! (¡ok! ¿Pero serán tan efectivos como estos videos estupendos?)
No malgastes tu dinero, ¡invierte en ti mismo!
🤷🏻♀️Prefiero una clase presencial o una clase en línea en vivo con un profesor
✅ Estoy de acuerdo, ¡es una opción fantástica! También las ofrezco (¡de hecho, ese es mi trabajo principal! Y haz el clic aquí en este enlace si estás interesado en contratarme). Pero debes saber que cobro por hora. ¿No sería mejor si pasaras algunas horas y aprendieras lo básico primero por el precio de solo 2-3 clases, antes de conocer a tu maestra para trabajar en fluidez y la corrección?
🤷🏻♀️Ya completé 11 lecciones en el mini curso "Perfecciona tu Tiempo Pasado", ¿no significa eso que obtendré solo 44-11 = 33 en el curso "The Grammar Wizard”?
✅ ¡Eso no es cierto! De hecho, ¡hay 20 nuevos verbos irregulares que puedes practicar en el curso completo! Y hay dos nuevos videos que están incluidos: uno sobre el sonido final "-ed" (con el que, francamente, necesitas un poco más de práctica), y y otro sobre los verbos irregulares más usados en el tiempo pasado. Tuve que mantenerlos en el curso, ya que ¡el curso “completo” estaría incompleto sin estos!
🤷🏻♀️¿Cuál es mi nivel? ¿Por dónde empiezo?
✅ Antes de comenzar el curso ... Llena un cuestionario (en la sección "Suscripción-Bienvenida"). Cuando envíes los resultados, podrás inmediatamente ver las respuestas correctas e incorrectas.
En lugar de centrarte en la "puntuación" general que corresponde a un "nivel" en las pruebas de nivelación típicas, toma nota de mis observaciones correspondientes a cada respuesta incorrecta, lo que te indicará en qué lecciones debes centrarte más durante el curso.
Ahora, puedes comenzar el curso con esas recomendaciones.
🤷🏻♀️Y, ¿qué pasa si no me gusta el curso en absoluto? ¿No será una pérdida de $67!

Me pareció una muy buena plataforma, interactiva, diferente, llama la atencion, es muy bueno que los videos no sean tan extensos para mantenerse atento, ademas es muy útil que incluya los test al final para poder autoevaluarse, quizás se podría incorporar "recursos" como guías de ejercicios, paginas donde poder practicar más, links de sitios interesantes y útiles o material de soporte.

What I liked the most about Swapna’s classes was her methodology. For all the classes, Swapna send us a video as homework to watch, that it was always a very interesting topic, and then the classes revolved around the discussion of said video, which allowed generating a good debate and learning English in the best way… speaking it.

The Teacher is very clear and taught in a creative and entertaining way. When I started I didn't know or heard about The Ted Talks, now I like it and I will still watch it in the future. I really learned a lot of things, not just about English or grammar or even vocabulary. The Ted Talk were of course related to the topic that we were learning, followed with questions and a true or false exercise to discuss and talk a little bit on classes. I liked and enjoyed her method.
